#3: Pack heavy items such as books and tools in small boxes.

#4: Wrap all furniture with blankets or pads to prevent scratching.

#5: Tightly seal all boxes with packing tape to prevent dust from entering.

#6: Clean & dry all items being stored.

#7: Pack as much as you can in the same size boxes for easy stacking & space management.

#8: Pack books flat to protect their spines.

#9: Pack lamps and lampshades in individual boxes.

#10: Pad all bed frames, head boards, mirrors & paintings with blankets.

#11: Use lots of paper to pack dishes and glasses.

#12: Place all boxes on pallets to allow for air flow.

#13: Drain all gasoline and oil from lawnmowers and all small engines.

#14: Use trash cans to store shovels, hoes, and rakes.

#15: Mattresses should be covered and stored, propped up.

#16: Place tables and dressers top-to-top to save space.

#17: Always use high quality locks on you unit.

#18: Caution! Do not store anything combustible. (I.E. gas, solvents, paint, paint thinner)

#19: Try to leave an isle down the center of the unit for easy access.

#20: Put all TV and electronic devices in the rear of the unit.
